• Build Data: Vehicle details, modifications, build history, photos, and appraisal information

• Payment Information: Processed through Stripe; we do not store credit card details

Automatic Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• IP addresses and device identifiers (for anti-scraping purposes)
• Log data (pages visited, time spent, interactions)
• Search queries and content preferences
• Session and device storage used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Off Com platform
• To process payments for subscriptions and one-time plate purchases
• To send service updates, account notifications, and security alerts
• To calculate build estimated value ranges
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

How We Share Your Information

We share information in limited circumstances:

• Public Profiles & Builds: Profile information and public builds are visible to all users
• Service Providers: Stripe (payments) for checkout, and Base44 (platform hosting, database, and built-in analytics)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety
• Directory Listings: Builder and vendor listings we compile from public sources show business name, city/state, specialties, and website only. Phone numbers and street addresses are not shown on a listing until the business claims that profile.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. After account deletion, we retain certain records as required by law (e.g., transaction history for 7 years for tax/fraud purposes). When you delete your account we delete the content you created — Build Plates and builds, parts and part listings, comments, posts, reviews, support requests, claims, follows, daps, notifications, and messages — or, where removing it would break another member's thread, we anonymize it: the display name becomes "Deleted user" and your email is removed. Transaction records are kept only as long as tax and fraud law requires.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and regular monitoring. However, no system is 100% secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to factors beyond our control.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal data
• Request corrections to inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications
