Question 1

What is a Build Plate?

Accepted Answer

One public page for one vehicle. Every mod, the cost, the date, and the shop that did it. You stamp it, you write it, and you share it with one link.

Question 2

Is it really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for enthusiasts. Not a trial. We get paid by shops, done-for-you plates, season packs, local spots, and the $19 Sale Kit. Not by ads, and not by selling your data.

Question 3

Why not just post my build in a group?

Accepted Answer

You can. But group posts sink in a couple of days, and good luck finding one a year later. A plate stays put, and it's tied to the truck.

Question 4

What's the garage?

Accepted Answer

Inventory. The rigs you own and what's on them.

Question 5

What notifications will I get?

Accepted Answer

Three kinds. Someone daps your plate. Someone invites you to their club. Or a plate you watch hits a race, a prerun, or a big jump in its value estimate. Nothing else.

Question 6

What's a dap?

Accepted Answer

A nod. It says "nice build." It never changes a dollar figure on your plate.

Question 7

Is the value on my plate an appraisal?

Accepted Answer

No. It's an estimate, shown as a range. Don't lean on it alone for insurance or a sale price.

Question 8

When will my card be charged?

Accepted Answer

One-time items (Sale Kit, done-for-you plates, season packs) are charged once, at checkout. Monthly plans (shop plates, Arizona spot) are charged when you sign up and then on the same day each month.

Question 9

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Email offcomapp@gmail.com. Cancelling stops your next charge. You keep what you've paid for until the end of that month.

Question 10

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Email offcomapp@gmail.com about any charge and you'll hear back from a person.

Question 11

How does the Trailblazer Badge work?

Accepted Answer

Copy your link and send it to your buddies. When someone you brought in stamps their first plate with photos, you earn the badge, and they get $25 off a done-for-you plate. There's more for club leaders, builders, and shops.

Question 12

I run a club. Is there a group page?

Accepted Answer

No. Off Com is about the rigs. Use your Trailblazer link to bring your club in, then send each of them a club invite.

Question 13

I'm a builder. Why bother?

Accepted Answer

Because the truck leaves your shop and your work goes with it. Your name's on the plate. When the owner shares it, people see who built it.

Question 14

I own a shop. What do I get for $500 a month?

Accepted Answer

I put up to 4 of your customer builds on plates every month, with your shop credited on each one. You don't type anything. Not ready for that? The Arizona spot is $149 a month, and the first 3 shops pay $99.

Question 15

Do I need the App Store?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Open offcom.io on your phone and tap Add to Home Screen. It works like an app. The App Store version comes later.

Question 16

Where are you based?

Accepted Answer

Arizona. We're starting with desert trucks, prerunners, and built UTVs.

Question 17

Who runs this?

Accepted Answer

A veteran-owned team in Arizona. Email offcomapp@gmail.com and you'll get a person.
